Terms & Conditions / Distance Contract
General
In accordance with Latvian law, online store owners must state the rules for delivery, returns and the right of withdrawal. This statement is known as a distance contract (Cabinet Regulations).
Distance Contract
The seller of the goods offered in this online store (hereinafter – the Seller) and the person placing an order (hereinafter – the Buyer) conclude the following Contract:
The Seller undertakes to sell and deliver goods to the Buyer in accordance with the Buyer’s order.
Ordering and Payment
The Buyer orders goods via this website, indicating the type and quantity of the goods. Payment can be made using the payment tools integrated in the online store or by paying the invoice prepared by the Seller and sent to the Buyer by e-mail. The invoice is issued electronically and is valid without a signature.
Delivery
The Seller ensures delivery of the goods within 20 days from the moment payment is received, coordinating the delivery time with the Buyer.
Right of Withdrawal
The Buyer has the right to withdraw from the goods within 14 calendar days from the moment of receiving the goods by sending a withdrawal notice to the Seller. The Seller will send the withdrawal form template to the Buyer by e-mail upon request.
The Buyer must return the goods to the Seller within 7 days after sending the withdrawal notice. All costs related to returning the goods to the Seller are borne by the Buyer.
The Buyer may not exercise the right of withdrawal if:
-
due to their nature, the ordered goods cannot be returned, or they perish quickly or are quickly consumed;
-
the ordered goods were made specifically for the Buyer according to an individual order;
-
the Buyer has opened the packaging of an audio or video recording or computer software.
Section 12(6) of the Latvian Consumer Rights Protection Law states that “the consumer is responsible for maintaining the quality and safety of the goods during the period of exercising the right of withdrawal.” The Seller reserves the right to refuse the right of withdrawal or withhold a compensation fee if the goods are damaged, if they have been handled carelessly or contrary to the instructions, or if the original packaging is missing or significantly damaged.
